Overview
To submit work to your Professor, or Instructor, for assessment you must add your work to the portfolio section or assignment page and use the Submit button. This will send your work to your Professor or Instructor, who will then grade your work for you.
To begin, access the portfolio or assignment and add your work to the page.
Submitting Work
The Submit button will become active once content has been added to the page, and a notifier will appear the button indicating that "This section can be submitted." Click the Submit button.

1. A summary of which Portfolio, and Section you are submitting to will be provided.
2. You may be prompted to select a rubric to submit to, and/or assessor(s) to submit to.
3. Click Submit.
NOTE: If you are uncertain of which rubric to select, or which assessor(s) to submit to, please contact your local Chalk & Wire Administrators.

Your submission will be confirmed in green, along with a summary of the submission that you have just made. To return to your portfolio or assignment, click the Return button.

Unable to Submit?
If you have added content to the section or page, but the Submit button is striked out (i.e. Submit), hover your mouse over the Submit button for an explanation. You will see a message appear, indicating that, "(the Submit button is) Disabled. No VALID assessment instrument associated with this page."
To access information regarding linked assessment instruments, use the Linkages icon to the left of the table of contents. For more information about the Linkages screen, please visit the Linkages help page.
